This work pays homage to the Greek insurrection in 1973, during which the students stood up against the dictatorship of the colonels and took refuge in the Polytechnic of Athens, until the gates not being forced by tanks. Emblem of the student movements of the time, of Europe and moreover, this generation has been nicknamed since the "polytechnic generation".
The famous sculpture by Memos Makris, located in the schoolyard and representing the head of a young student lying on the ground, inspired this work. Symbol of the idealism of a youth that has today aged, the character, unknown, aged, looks at himself, and contemplates his ideals now too from an ancient time.
